Join recognized Bioethicist and Philosophy professor Michael Dahnke, PhD on a fascinating journey through philosophical logic to the very core of human and professional ethics. Participants will explore the basis of ethical decision making, analyze the NASW Code of Ethics and develop a deeper, practical comprehension applying this understanding to real and hypothetical cases.
Dr. Dahnke brings a unique, thought provoking and interactive approach as a university lecturer (CUNY) as well as through his noted publications and academic works on the ethics surrounding client confidentiality and autonomy, duty to warn, and social justice. This workshop is sure to deepen your appreciation of the decision making process, and offer thinking strategies to help clients better understand and connect with their values systems.
