Participants will explore key phrases that indicate underlying emotional response to clutter, understand basic organizing techniques to address specified emotional responses, and identify “red flags” that inhibit successful change. Help clients tap into more organized thinking patterns as Katie applies effective strategies for taking control of life’s physical and mental clutter!

Presenter: Alexa Donnelly, LMSW
From family violence to road rage, Alexa Donnelley looks at the many manifestations of anger. Participants will explore underlying issues surrounding the evocation of anger, common social and environmental contexts provoking anger, along with tools and exercises for managing anger and improving emotional control in efforts to gain mastery over our tempers.
Alexa Donnelly, is a Social Worker with a background including work in domestic violence and is also an experienced provider for individuals with disabilities

The “#MeToo” Movement: Creating Leadership that Breaks the Bonds of Gender, Power and Stereotypes

Presenter: Kori Grillo, LCSW
Clinical Social Worker and Leadership Coach Kori Grillo, LCSW examines contemporary workplace culture through the lens of gender, behavior, power and status. Participants will gain insight surrounding the historical context of gender based workplace discrimination, common barriers to advocacy, seeking justice and effective tools for Social Workers and Mental Health professionals to utilize in both micro and macro environments. Whether you are helping clients navigate the hurdles on the path toward upward career mobility or assisting agencies in establishing socially responsible policies, this thought provoking presentation will provide practitioners with heightened awareness about the perils of a socially and ethically antiquated workplace and strategies to address it.
