Workaholic Client? Abe Clabby, LPC, brings the art of self care into a transferable skill set to aid clients with managing life stressors and carrying them over when outside of the session. Participants will gain enhanced insight surrounding the importance of promoting healthy eating and sleep habits, (aside from it just being good for you), keeping the work/life balance in perspective, and ways to build support systems inside the work environment, where clients may spend a majority of their time (even when bosses are part of the problem).

Abe Clabby is a counselor in greater Austin, TX. area. He has spent most of a decade working in nonprofits and government agencies to serve people most in need, much of his work surrounding victims of childhood abuse and domestic violence. But his passion is working with Helpers – compassionate people who want to give to others. Some are in the helping professions such as counseling, medical care, and social work; others become caregivers for family at home. While helpers run the risk of burnout, Abe believes that with the right mindset, assertiveness, boundaries, and self-care, they can change these relationships to make them healthy and sustainable.
