We will discuss the signs to look for to identify abusive behavior and methods to help all impacted by the situation. The interaction of Child Welfare laws as they relate to DV will be discussed as well. (Trainer, Tonya Logan, LCSW-C, LICSW, Founder, Kayla’s Village)

DSM Jeopardy! (3 Category I CEUs)
For many, the DSM is a dark and ominous book, foreshadowed by its equally gray and utilitarian cover. This workshop seeks to break that barrier and provide an entertaining venue in which participants can retain more knowledge of specific diagnoses. This class provides an engaging overview and review of the DSM-IV-TR through the tried-and-true method of a game show.
The workshop will also highlight the necessity of a working document like the DSM, the purpose of diagnosis vs. labeling, and a brief discussion about the publication of the DSM-V in May 2013.
This workshop will provide an opportunity to process through the most widely used diagnostic criteria within the categories of DSM disorders. (Trainer, Justin Griepentrog, LGSW, Program Director, Compassionate Grace Counseling Center)
