Katie Bingner is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC-S) working with adults (18+) struggling with anxiety, life transitions, relational issues and unhealed psychic wounds. Katie is an integrative trauma therapist, combining action-oriented approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with trauma-informed techniques from Internal Family Systems (IFS), The Structural Dissociation Model and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, in order to offer a wide-range of support to meet client’s current and evolving needs. Katie has worked in many settings, from corrections to private practice, learning valuable lessons throughout her career, primarily that a clinician’s skills are only as effective as their presence and attunement. Today, in addition to her counseling work, Katie enjoys offering trainings, communication coaching, blogging and clinical consultation to clinicians seeking support and looking to hone their skills. Katie is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and is passionate about offering a safe space for any marginalized person in need of affirming care and allyship.
