From the Boardroom to the Budget Sheet, Bonnie Lumagui, LCSW examines development and maintenance of partnerships, communication with supervisors and executives, and strategies for effective meeting structures to maximize staff engagement. Gain a deeper understanding of balancing administrative needs with program and client needs, building the tools for effective management.

Bonnie Lumagui, a native New Yorker has been employed at the Educational Alliance since May 2000. In her current position as Director of Co-op Village NORC, she works with a diverse older adult population to address an array of aging issues. Prior to her current position she directed the Educational Alliance Whittaker Senior Center and has also worked in several positions within Older Adult Services in an administrative capacity and in direct work with clients. One of her most treasured roles was Coordinator of the Social Adult Day Program. This program worked with memory impaired clients and their caregivers. Her commitment and compassion to the seniors and the field of aging is evident by the many successful programs she has helped to develop. She is also a staunch advocate for older adult services to be increased and maintained. Ms. Lumagui is co-chair of the Lower East Side Lower Manhattan Inter Agency Council for the Aging, and co-chairs the NORC Directors Group. Bonnie has presented at numerous local and national conferences on aging issues including American Society on Aging.
Ms. Lumagui received her MSW from Fordham University. Family is also very important to her and her son is one of the greatest joys in her life. Mrs. Lumagui’s commitment to helping others is not only seen in her professional life, she is also a volunteer firefighter for Ocean Bay Park on Fire Island, New York.
