Is there a recipe for letting go of anger and choosing the path of forgiveness? Explore contemporary research on Forgiveness with Deborah Levinson, LCSW! In this moving presentation participants will identify hindrances as well as helpful components about the value of forgiving old hurts. New strategies for helping clients to choose forgiveness for their own growth and development will be presented. Citing marriage relationships and workplace incidents will help to give participants in depth examples of how forgiveness works. Exercises that clients can do to illustrate forgiveness will also be

Deborah S. Levinson, LCSW is a practicing psychotherapist, trained at Johns Hopkins University, and has published research on how people mourn and create a new chapters in their lives following major loss. Mrs. Levinson has presented in a variety of venues across the United States, including Jewish Family Services Santa Barbara, CA, New York Clinical Social Work Society, Greater Washington Clinical Social Work Society, Psychiatric Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York, Johns Hopkins, and U.S. Secret Service Employee Assistance. Mrs. Levinson has also served as an adjunct lecturer at Santa Barbara City College.
