Alexis Cate LCSW, CCTP, CASAC, guides participants into the corridor of how trauma memories are processed and the key component the body plays in trauma response. A review of assessment as it relates to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder diagnosis, as well as trauma reactions coexisting with fellow mental health diagnoses will be discussed, as well as insights surrounding the application of trauma informed therapy and related practices.

 

Alexis Cate is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in hospital and community-based settings. As a certified EMDR therapist and Clinical Trauma Professional, she integrates diverse therapeutic approaches to provide client-centered care. In addition to her clinical work, Alexis is a skilled educator and writer in behavioral health and wellness.
